The culprit is a demon with a dangerous sense of humour who was "accidentally" summoned by Ecstatica, the local alchemist's maid (and your bi-curious love interest). Every character was made up of spherical sprites (think Vectorman) that then animated in weird and wonderful ways in 3D. They are absolutely memorable, early survival horror gems with a very unique rendering graphics engine (self described as: ellipsoid technology). It’s high time these were added to the collection.
